Estonia is known as one of the flagship ecosystems for digital society and e-governance. Using AI
brings a new dimension to many aspects, such as having a sustainable roadmap for AI based
innovation that effectuates co-creation by both - government agencies and ICT cluster. When the
first governmental AI strategy was born before European AI Act and focused on domestic market,
empowering the State, then new trends are directed to build trust between relevant stakeholders
(including end-users, academia, and NGOs) and elaborating visions that would bring the ambitions
to the new level. The presentation will present these visions together with emerging concerns.
