Urban sustainability and satellite-based observations. Join the future talk online on 3. Dec!

The Digital Economy research platform at University of Vaasa (Finland) and Regional studies welcomes you to join the future talk focusing on urban sustainability and satellite-based observation on Thursday 3rd of December.

We hope to promote dialogue around energy and material stocks and flows in urban areas. We are especially interested in adding satellite-based observations into the discussion of a more efficient analysis of urban energy and materials exchange (urban metabolism). Our aim is to challenge various experts into thinking and discussing how space-based data could be used more efficiently in promoting sustainable urban transition.

If you are interested in learning more about the possibilities of space-based observations and urban transition towards sustainability - you are welcome!

  • The online event in Zoom takes place at 9:30-11:00 EET (UTC+2)
  • Sign up by using the EFORM (webropol) latest by 2.12.2020.
