The Energy Day (TED) will be arranged for the tenth time at the University of Vaasa on Wednesday 8th of November 2017 at 10.00 - 15.00. The event takes place in the entrance halls of restaurant Mathilda and scientific library Tritonia. The event site can be found from www.thunderbolt.fi. Free entry.

What is TED

TED is an event arranged annually by Vaasa Energy Institute (VEI). This event functions as a meeting place for university & polytechnic students and companies working in the energy industry. Naturally, anyone interested is welcome.

In the event students can get themselves familiar with the participating companies and other organizations at their stands and during short company presentations. An event magazine will be published before the event. TED is the most significant recruitment event locally targeted at the academic students.

The venue

The event will be arranged at the University of Vaasa, where VAMK University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences are also located close by. Participating companies present themselves at their own stands in the lobby areas of restaurant Mathilda and science library Tritonia. The company presentations are being held in the Nissi auditorium of Tritonia.

Why participate

TED is a great opportunity for the students to get familiar with the companies operating in the energy industry and meet the experts personally. We want to encourage students to consider energy industry from the point of view of e.g. career or research. Therefore, there are several organizations present at the event who can offer excellent opportunities for theses and future vacancies.

10:55 - 14:30 Company presentations at Tritonia's auditorium Nissi
