Our aim is to discuss university funding models and the role and impact of universities in the rapidly changing world. Funding models in Finland are highly complex. Latest proposed funding frameworks link numerous indicators directly to funding. The models have changed on average every two years, making the management of universities a challenge.
We are looking for views on how universities can be more productive and impactful in the future.
The event will be in Finnish, with the exception of Karen Markides’ speech being held in English.
