Lecture: Politics and Banking: The Rise of Putin

Professor Koen Schoors (University of Ghent, Belgium) delivers a lecture on the topic ”Politics and Banking: The Rise of Putin”.

Professor Schoors is a leading expert on Russia’s banking system.

The event is organized by the department of economics. Professor Schoors will act as the opponent for KTM Mervi Toivanen, who will defend her dissertation “Essays in Credit Contagion and Shocks in Banking” on Friday August 28.
