Do you want to improve your English communicative skills? Do you want to improve your CV and interview techniques in English? Are you planning for Erasmus Exchange program or working and studying abroad?
KENG9224 Studying and Working Abroad: International Employability Skills is an English course to prepare you for working and studying abroad opportunities. This course will help you develop employability skills needed in different countries.
This year, 2019, the course also includes a voluntary field trip visit to industries in Germany. We will visit companies, such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, etc., to present CVs to the companies for potential internship opportunities. Students who completed the course will receive 3 ECTs, and additional 2 ECTs will be gained by completing the field trip (min. 8 participants, max 20 participants) in Week 42.
University of Vaasa degree students will receive 500€ for the field trip (student’s own expenses dependent on the final price of the trip) and some German language and culture training before the field trip.
Sign up for the course in WebOodi by 5th of September at the latest. When signing up for this course, please specify if you’ll be attending the field trip.
