Energy technology released a MOOC course
Professor Seppo Niemi and University teacher Anne Mäkiranta with a group of teachers and researchers of Energy technology created the first MOOC course of the University of Vaasa. The course gives an opportunity to take a virtual tour at the unique research laboratory focused on the needs of the Marine industry at the University of Vaasa. The new mass open online course Introduction to Engine Laboratory Research, 1 ECTS,is now available on FITech MOOCs site.
You can find the course on FITech MOOCs and you can start studying without any application. On the site you can also find the instructions how to navigate on the course environment, and how the written exercises and calculations are evaluated.
Afterwards you can get the university level credit point registered free of charge. You just must apply for the registration afterwards on FITech.io site and you need your Finnish identity code and banking access.
This introduction course will provide a pathway for a minor studies on energy technology. FITech minor in English will begin in September 2021. Our lectures are based on research conducted in close cooperation with companies. You can apply for study right for the minor or a single course. The application period will start 7.6. on FITech.io.
