Scholarships for responsible investing master’s theses

Finsif – Finland’s Sustainable Investment Forum awards scholarships to students and researchers interested in responsible investment. The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage research on responsible investment.
Scholarships will be awarded up to a total of €8,000 to fund theses completed or in progress during 2023 at the level of at least a Master's degree. In principle, the scholarships will range from €500 to €1,000 for master’s theses.
The thesis must combine economic perspectives with responsible investment or corporate social responsibility. The free-form application should include details of the applicant's studies (including a transcript of records if these are pending), the timetable, any other funding and an assessment of the relevance of the thesis to Finnish investment activities. A CV and a research plan (or a completed thesis/interim report if available) should be attached. In addition, a supervisor's statement is required.
Applications will be evaluated by a working group consisting of representatives of Finsif member companies and three external experts.
