The University of Vaasa changes over to one domain name: uwasa.fi
For the sake of clarity, the web services of the University of Vaasa will all operate under one domain name in future. Changing back to the uwasa.fi domain name was found to be the simplest and most inexpensive option to unify domain names. Please update your email address!
In June 2021, we will stop using the uwasa.fi domain name and return to the uwasa.fi domain name that was already in use in 1991–2012. The change will affect both the university web pages and email addresses. On social media, we will continue to use the already established #univaasa hashtag.
The uwasa.fi website addresses will continue to work by redirecting users automatically to the same web page under the uwasa.fi domain name. During a transition period (from June 2021 to the end of 2022), also the old email addresses will work. Nevertheless, please change your email address to uwasa.fi in any services to which you have given your university email address in good time.
