The University of Vaasa welcomed into CIMA University Affiliation Program
The University of Vaasa has been approved into the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) University Affiliation Program. The University’s Master’s Programme in Accounting and Auditing has been acknowledged as incorporating CIMA qualification guidelines and covers the core knowledge, skills, and abilities generally accepted and applied by accounting and auditing professionals globally.
Furthermore, students of the Master’s Programme in Accounting and Auditing at the University o of Vaasa can prepare for the CIMA qualification already during their studies via the CIMA Masters Gateway Route.
The Masters Gateway Route is an accelerated entry route to the CIMA Professional Qualification and the globally recognszed CGMA (Charted Global Management Accountant) designation for individuals who hold an MBA or Master's in Accounting. The obtained affiliation positions students from Master’s Programme in Accounting and Auditing to get exemptions from 11 exams in the CIMA qualifications.
