New mental health service line in SelfChat
A new service line for mental health treatment guidance has been opened in SelfChat. This mental health line provides students with assessment of the need for treatment and guidance on services from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. Read more
Influenza vaccinations for health and welfare students, as well as students belonging to a risk group, from the FSHS in November and in December
Medical students and health and welfare students in higher education, as well as students belonging to a risk group, can receive their influenza vaccinations from the FSHS in November and in December. More information about the vaccination schedule and practical arrangements will be published at the end of October.
It is not possible to book appointments for influenza vaccinations through the phone number on in SelfChat. Read more
Remember to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are unable to arrive
If you cancel or reschedule an unsuitable appointment on time you will avoid the charge of an unattended appointment. You can manage your appointments at the Self online service.
We charge from the customer a fee of 40 euros for no-show appointments in which the student has not arrived at their agreed appointment nor rescheduled or cancelled them at least 24 hours before the appointment. Read more
MieliChat can support your well-being
The FSHS has recently opened a new chat service MieliChat. MieliChat is a place to talk anonymously about your worries and get advice and support for you mental health and well-being.
The service is available from Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and can be accessed via the Self online service. Read more
