Biography
Rebekah Rousi holds a PhD in Cognitive Science with extensive experience of research and teaching in Human-Technology Interaction. Her main research specialtise is in User Experience and human experience (semiotics, communication, logic, culture) with technology. Rousi's research interests include: design; embodied interactions and experience; human-robot interaction; human-AI interaction; posthumanism; environmental interactions (e.g., elevator and arhitectural experience); ethics; emotions; trust; and sustainability. Rousi also has a background in cultural studies, critical theory and contemporary art. She has trained and practiced as a performance artist and printmaker since 2003.
