Optimising distribution transport in the food ecosystem

The aim of the project is to develop the cost and environmental efficiency of food distribution transport in the food ecosystem using digital tools.

The project will produce:

1) a report analysing the current state of food transport
2) A transport optimisation tool (software)
3) Emission and cost impact analysis of food transport

The project has received ERDF funding from the European Union through the Innokaupungit (Seinäjoki) programme. The EU funding amounts to 29 342 EUR.
