Seminar: Network on Multilingualism

The seminar for Network on Multilingualism will be held at Åbo Akademi University in Vaasa on 14th till 15th of January 2016.

The event starts with an open seminar Solutions and challenges in multilingual societies and organizations – European experiences on 14th January at 9-11 (Åbo Akademi, Rantakatu 2, auditorium Bruhn).

Professor François Grin (University of Geneva) and researcher Johan Häggman (Université catholique de Louvain) will introduce the theme and also participate in a panel discussion on the theme together with Marica Lassus (director of communications at Wärtsilä). There will also be time for questions and comments from the audience. The seminar language is English. Free entry. Welcome!

The purpose of the international researcher network Workshop on multilingualism is to develop a holistic research perspective on multilingualism. Starting point for the network is a cross-disciplinary., multilingual and international cooperation between researchers representing different fields of linguistics, sociology, pedagogy, social sciences and economics.
