Guidelines for studying safely on campus

Two happy people greeting by touching elbows, with face masks on.
Spring 2022 is a transition period in the organisation of teaching. Students are welcome to return to campus. In all its activities, the university wants to ensure the safety of students and staff.

The University of Vaasa has gradually increased teaching on campus from 1 February. Our premise is that the members of the university community can work and study safely.

Do not come to campus if you are ill. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, sore throat, tiredness or runny nose, do not arrive on campus.

Use a face mask. When visiting, studying or working on campus you must use a face mask. If you do not have your own mask, you can pick up a mask from the caretakers at the Tervahovi, Fabriikki and Tritonia information points. Face masks can also be found in workspaces and meeting rooms.

Use hand sanitiser. Hand sanitiser is available around the campus. Also, remember to wash your hands regularly.
