New equality work group for the University of Vaasa

In addition to staff organizations the working group consists of Education services, Study programs and HR. The commission also includes a student representative as well as representation from the student union. Moving forward the commission will serve all of the University of Vaasa community in better in issues of equality.

The University of Vaasa gives a yearly Big Heart Award for equality. The award was given on Valentine’s day to the University of Vaasa Student Union. The Student Union has furthered equality in a exemplary fashion in the university community initiating cultural change that will last for a long time.
