University of Vaasa hosts two academic conferences next week
Two academic conferences, 15th Vaasa Conference on International Business and Nordic Academy of Management 2019, will take place at the University of Vaasa campus next week.
15th Vaasa Conference on International Business
The theme of the 15th Vaasa Conference on International Business (August 19-21, 2019) will be "Innovative international business strategies in a digitalized world". The conference consists of two plenaries and about 25 focused sessions related to various fields of international business such as strategy, marketing and human resource management. An international doctoral tutorial will be organized on August 19th where conference board members and other IB faculty members will discuss the doctoral students’ proposals.
Around one hundred IB researchers from 17 different countries will participate the conference. They will present 85 scientific papers.
Nordic Academy of Management 2019
The 25th Nordic Academy of Management Conference will be held at the University of Vaasa August 22-24. The theme of the conference is "Nordic Energies that reflects the nature of Vaasa business region: a combination of a thriving energy cluster and enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit.
Around 300 researchers will participate the conference. The conference consists of 210 paper presentations within all fields of Business Administration. A Phd Workshop related to the conference will take place August 20-21.
