VEO donates 20 000 euros to the University of Vaasa

VEO Oy donates 20 000 euros to the University of Vaasa. 10 000 euros will be addressed to the field of technology and 10 000 euros to the field of business studies.

Kuvassa (vas): yhteyspäällikkö Mika Palosaari, kauppatieteellisen tiedekunnan dekaani Jorma Larimo, VEOn varatoimitusjohtaja Visa Yliluoma, VEOn toimitusjohtaja Marko Ekman, rehtori Jari Kuusisto sekä teknillisen tiedekunnan dekaani Erkki Antila.

– VEO considers the education of technology and business studies as very important matters of success to the Vaasa’s energy cluster and the global growth of the companies. VEO wants to do its part in strengthening the attractiveness of Vaasa region and guarantee the availability of the labour in the future as well, says VEO’s CEO Marko Ekman.

– Our cooperation with the University has become closer year after year. We wish that the University of Vaasa will strengthen further and be able to offer top-class education in the future, Ekman continues.
