Reza Naghash

Introduction

Reza Naghash is a Project Researcher at the School of Technology and Innovations, University of Vaasa. He is a member of the Smart Electric Systems research group and is working at VEBIC FREESI-lab. Reza has a solid background in power electronics and control systems, and has hands-on experience in power converters prototyping and implementing advanced digital control systems by using MCUs, DSPs, and FPGAs, with a strong focus on microgrids, drives, and wireless power transfer systems. Currently, he is working on an EU funded project in the marine industry, which he is developing control systems and performing power hardware-in-the-loop testing in shipboard microgrids considering hybrid energy storage systems.
