Publiikki Graduation Event
Publiikki is a graduation event of all the schools of the University of Vaasa where celebrating the graduates of master's and engineering degrees. Also, doctoral graduates are welcome to attend the Publiikki event.
Next Publiikki will be held on 18 June 2025 at at the Levón Auditorium at the University of Vaasa. (More info will be updated later).
The event in brief
A programme includes short speeches by the rector and deans. The Publiikki event takes approx. 1,5 hours.
Refreshments will be served after the event. Changes are possible, please follow this page.
The first rows of the auditorium are reserved for the graduates. The graduates of each School sit in alphabetical order according to the received degree. Each graduate will have an assigned seat with their name tag on it.
Family and friends can take any seat in the auditorium, excluding the reserved rows of seats.
Registration for the event
All graduates are welcome to attend the event. Registration for the Publiikki will open in April 2025.
An invitation to the event will not be sent, please register for the event using the form (will be updated here).
You may also invite some guests to the event, e.g. your family members or friends. Please inform also the number of your guests in the form.
If you have registered for the Publiikki event, but you fall ill or otherwise wish to cancel your participation, please remember to inform the Study and Education Services (counselling@uwasa.fi).
Dress code
It is recommended to wear a festive and smart outfit. For men, this means a suit or a jacket and for women a dress, skirt or trouser suit.
