What is continuous learning?
Continuous learning refers to lifelong learning at different stages of life and career. It is anticipated that in Finland, nearly half a million people will need retraining or further education in the coming years.
We offer adults flexible opportunities to enhance their skills, for example, through online courses or blended learning alongside work. The courses are open to everyone, regardless of whether you have vocational education, polytechnic studies, high school education, or university education. Both paid and free online courses are available.
The continuous learning services at the University of Vaasa also include science education for children and young people (LUMA Centre Ostrobothnia) and support for immigrants in accessing higher education and employment corresponding to their qualifications (SIMHE, Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education).
