Want to improve your Finnish skills? Want to learn Swedish? Would you like to learn some other language? Would you like to know more about another culture? If you say yes to even one of these questions, get yourself a Language Buddy!

Register by September the 8^th by 11.59 p.m. with this form and tell which language you would like to learn and what is your mother tongue – the language you would teach. Being on native speaker level in a language is essential for the teaching part, but we do not expect you to be a trained teacher or a trained language teacher with a pedagogical background. J

If we can find you a Language Buddy, you will get an email with the Zoom-Link to the first meeting.

The first Zoom-Meeting is on Tuesday, September the 15^th at 4.00 – 5.30 p.m.

You must be present – this is when we tell you all the important things and we´ll tell who your Language Buddy is!

We will have one voluntary Zoom-Meeting on Tuesday, October the 20^th at 4.00 – 5.30 p.m. This is for questions and other stuff, if you need a chat with the teacher.

The last Zoom-Meeting is on Tuesday, December the 1^st at 4.00-5.30 p.m. In this meeting you and your Language Buddy will give a presentation of your activities during the fall. Or you can submit a video presentation instead.

You can meet with your Language Buddy in Vaasa, if you both are here – but all meetings can be done in Zoom, Skype, Teams or any other program that works for you!

Students from other universities than the Uni Vaasa need a JOO-contract. You will get this in the Students´ Office of the university you study in Vaasa.
