UN sustainable development goal: Good health and well-being
Researchers at the University of Vaasa use nature-based methods to promote mental health and well-being in a variety of social and health services, as well as youth work. Work-life balance and human resource management challenges are strongly related to health and well-being. Our social and health management researchers investigate the conditions that promote health and well-being from the perspectives of clients and patients, as well as experts and professionals.

UN's Sustainable Development Goals
Humanity faces significant challenges because of its own actions. The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development addresses these challenges with a lofty objective: to place global development on a path to ensure human well-being and human rights, economic prosperity, and social stability in an environmentally sustainable manner. These are the challenges that the University of Vaasa is also addressing. Click on the icons below to see examples of our sustainability work.
