UN sustainable development goal: Quality education
The University of Vaasa collaborates with industries and organisations for research and education. We strongly support student innovation. Vaasa’s higher education institutions share a startup space on campus, which allows for new experiments, networking, and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The University of Vaasa uses a CoDoc collaboration model that incorporates a company’s or another organisation’s demands and research interests into a doctoral student’s research topic.
University of Vaasa and Wärtsilä Finland agreed on extensive strategic partnership in education and research
UN's Sustainable Development Goals
Humanity faces significant challenges because of its own actions. The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development addresses these challenges with a lofty objective: to place global development on a path to ensure human well-being and human rights, economic prosperity, and social stability in an environmentally sustainable manner. These are the challenges that the University of Vaasa is also addressing. Click on the icons below to see examples of our sustainability work.
